Update to Easy Billing 2000 Released

November 24, 1999 -- Alliance Computer Services has released an update to its Easy Billing 2000 version. It is being shipped on diskette to registered Easy Billing 2000 users now for no charge. The update contains a few enhancements and corrections to the 2000 version.

The patch will only work for the Easy Billing 2000 version dated December 1998 or later. Users of previous versions of Easy Billing should contact Alliance Computer Services at (800) 256 1786 to get the most current version of Easy Billing.

This software patch will not change existing Easy Billing screen layouts, report layouts, or data.

Users of Easy Billing 2000 can download a copy of the Easy Billing 2000 patch by clicking here. Save or copy EBPATCH.EXE to the directory where your existing Easy Billing 2000 installation is (the recommended directory is \EASYBILL). The download file is small and the download will be quick.

When the download has finished, do the following to install it:

1. Get to a MSDOS prompt by clicking on Start / Programs / MSDOS Prompt.
2. Change directories to Easy Billing's directory by entering
           cd\easybill        (or wherever you had installed Easy Billing)
3. Install the patch by entering
   ebpatch            (answer Yes at the overwrite prompt)
   

That's all that needs to be done. When you run Easy Billing, the banner screen will show a November 17, 1999 date.
